Three NFL Cubs Reunite at SoFi Stadium
Loyola Football alums Coleman Shelton ’13 (left), David Long Jr. ’16 (right) and Myles Bryant ’16 (center) made it a Cub homecoming on Dec. 10th when the Rams hosted the New England Patriots at the new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
Though Shelton and Long Jr.’s Rams came away with the 24-3 victory, Bryant—Loyola’s team MVP in 2015—made his presence felt on the nationally televised game with this interception. The rookie has also impressed legendary Patriots head coach Bill Belichick with his play so far this season, as chronicled in this story here.
Upon graduating from Loyola, all three Cubs went on to play Division I football with both Shelton and Bryant attending the University of Washington and Long Jr. attending the University of Michigan.
