Omar Wilkes ’03 Becomes Klutch Sports’ Head of Basketball Ops
Omar Wilkes ’03 made a big splash over the summer as the rising star in the agent industry was named Head of Basketball Operations for Klutch Sports Group. Klutch Sports represents a number of big-name NBA players, including LeBron James and Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers.

His NBA client list currently includes All-Star Trae Young and Cam Reddish of the Atlanta Hawks, OG Anunoby of the Toronto Raptors and the potential No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft, Anthony Edwards from the University of Georgia. Wilkes’ prominence within the industry continues to grow after spending the last eight years as a sports agent for Octagon, the world’s largest sports and entertainment agency.
While at Loyola, Wilkes was a nationally-ranked basketball prospect during his senior year in 2003. The shooting guard began his career at national powerhouse Kansas before transferring closer to home to Cal after his freshman season. Wilkes is the son of former UCLA and Los Angeles Lakers star, Jamaal Wilkes. His brother, Jordan ’05, also graduated from Loyola.
