The Cahalan Awards are back! Please join us back on campus for a celebratory night for all alums as we honor these three distinguished Cubs:
Andy Camacho ‘58
Andy is an accomplished attorney, businessman and entrepreneur. He and his restaurants have been a fixture in Los Angeles for many decades. His family-owned and operated company Camacho’s Incorporated has overseen the opening and operation of notable Southern California restaurants including El Paseo Inn Restaurant in Los Angeles and Mariasol Restaurant at the Santa Monica Pier.
Rob Gianelli ‘70
Rob, one of the leading attorneys in all of California, is an active alum of both Loyola High School and UCLA. In 2015, he won one of California Lawyer Magazine’s Attorney of the Year (CLAY) awards and was also a finalist for the Consumer Attorney of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys of California. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Insurance Law at Whittier Law School and La Verne University School of Law.
Gene Sykes ‘76
Gene is the Managing Director of Goldman Sachs and most recently served as the CEO of LA 2028, the bid committee that was entrusted to bring the Summer Olympic Games to Los Angeles. In his 35+ years at Goldman Sachs, he has advised many of the most significant leaders in technology, media, healthcare and other industries.
